January is almost coming to an end. The first month of the new year went by and here we are still living in the past.
It’s the beginning of the end. As the first month of the year, it is only natural that we begin with a clean slate and a fresh mind. Uprooting and Uplifting ourselves. Reminding each of us that the time we've got is limited, so it's the beginning of the end, it's the beginning of a new day. And a new day provides a new chance. And the end of the new beginning is here.
There have been days when we haven't felt our best. And it's only the first month of the year, and that's fine. Naturally, there are gonna be days filled with self-doubt and grief, but among those days there will be days where you'd appreciate life even more and those days are beautiful. Even after overcoming the darkness you'll feel relieved and you'll find yourself much much more admirable and that's going to be beautiful as well.
This month my theme was positivity and encouragement. On our first newsletter of 2022 I started it off with good thoughts and a better mindset, and I continued the sequel throughout the month, and just last week I capped it off with “Monster Inhabitation”. Hope you all enjoyed it, found my words uplifting and comforting. Hoping you’d stick with my newsletter!
To cap off the month, I'm going to quote one of my favorite quotes:
"There will be dark days ahead of us too, and there'll be days where you feel alone, and that's when hope is needed the most. Keep it alive." - Gwen Stacy
At the end of the movie (Amazing Spider-Man 2), Peter listened to the recording of Gwen’s speech. It had an impact on him and he went out there to be the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It worked like a balm to the audience. I hope it heals and encourages you to never give up, like it did, to Peter.
See you next month! have a lovely week ahead (and bear with me)!
love, S.
