the smell of rain and wet trees - the smell of last days of November
Mihail Sebastian, For Two Thousand Years
rain drops and misty afternoons made up November, now as i bid it goodbye, November you were a lovely friend, a sweet entry to the winter month, the duke of winter, December.
sweet, mellow November was filled with trips to libraries and bookstores, parks and gardens, binge watching shows, new smell of blankets and duvets, early mornings and tea, coffee and books, lounging and crafting. and on the last day, sweet heavens for good food, candle light and company.

below is a list of everything i watched, read and did for november. i hope you notice tiny misty ray of sunshine as you go along the post!
Productions
Derry Girls
Lisa McGee, Teen, Coming of Age
The story follows a chaotic group of friends in Londonderry, Ireland. Although the story ended by the third season, i had hoped it would last longer. The witty yet charming characters blended the different sides each of us carry, relating all too well.
Inside out
I watch so many animated films that i’ve lost count how many. Inspite of all the animated films i’ve watched so far, this definitely landed itself in top 5.

The premise, the genius behind this movie allows the smooth deliverance of what it aimed to deliver. this movie helped me to come in terms with all the characters that I posses, my versions of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Envy, Anxiety, Ennui and Embarrassment. Something changed when i saw this movie, maybe it’s perspective, maybe it’s finally understanding each of our core emotions or finding joy in the visuals of the memory, belief system, each island and the maze of imagination and dream productions.
